Strained left elbow.

I KNEW it. I've maintained ever since the Yankees lost Pettitte, that his elbow isn't in great shape, and the organization had to know it and that's why they didn't try too hard to get him. I realize it's only a 15-day DL, happens to a lot of guys, but.....

Yankees announcers have been talking about a rumor that Pettitte's MRIs showed some sort of "gap" and that was the main reason the organization didn't make a meaningful attempt to keep him.

Really? I didn't know that....I got shipped out of the area and I can't watch/listen to Yankee broadcasts. Only team on TV here are the @#$@ Orioles. It's too bad, would've been nice to see him as a Yankee for the rest of his career...but if his arms gives out, better off it's somewhere else.
