I wish all the owners in my league were like you quickfingerz, have you even watched his games? Hes flown out to the warning track at least 3 times, has been hitting it solidly, but sometimes they just dont fall though. Once they do, he'll be tearing it up :-P

I agree that it will decrease his SBs..but that is all it will do. When the 2nd spot gets on base, why risk stealing when the 3rd spot (Juan-Gone, or Sweeney) is at bat. You have a good chance at a home-run, or at least a double, in which case Beltran should be able to score from first. I can't think of a good SB guy who bats second, other than maybe Randy Winn, and he isn't really that good.

I don't agree that his stolen bases will drop at all.

Why would you steal a base if you were batting 3rd, with the cleanup guy behind you? That's where Carlos usually bats, yet he still swipes 40 bases a year.

He'll keep stealing bases simply because he's damn good at it. If his steals are affected at all, they'll go up not down.
