Heads up on Smoltz and Reitsma

Per Braves announcers on TBS, Reitsma may get some save opprotunities. They commented you have to remember that Smoltz
is still in ST mode. Sounds lame to me, Smoltz proclaimed himself
ready at the end of ST. For those of you(like me) that are desparate
for saves, Reitsma might be worth a shot. Personally, I think the
Braves are worried about Smoltz.

If I remember right, Smoltz started off 2002 and 2003 kinda shaky too, and he was fine after a few outings. I wouldn't panic.
I think the only reason Reitsma might see save opportunities is if a day game follows a night game or maybe back to back situations. But that could be typical of any bullpen. If Smoltz is healthy, he will be out there.

Surely you don't think I was suggesting anyone drop Smoltz. In
my case, I dropped Chacon on both teams and grabbed Reitsma.
Hell, I had to flip a coin between Chacon and Riske, as I said I'm
desparate. I still think the Braves are worried about Smoltz and will
baby him and Reitsma may get quite a few chances.

Maybe I'm alone on this, but I think Alfonseca would get first shot at saving a few extra.

well I wouldn't have given up on Chacon that quickly, he will def get more saves that Reitsma. barring injury.
