it also helps a tad to play in a band box for a ball park. don't get me wrong i think the guy is great, but anyone else notice that he got real hot after he went there?

edited to say: actually he was hot playing the phillies also, i stand corrected.

Errm...what?! Bandbox? Pro Player is one of the worst home run hitting parks.

The last few games have been at the Expos' southern place (which is a bandbox). I'm sure this is what he was referring to.

They are playing the expos in puerto rico (i believe), that is what i meant. he has 3 hr's in 2 games there. but i see he hit 2 hr's at pro player before he went there so i somewhat retracted my statement cause he was hot before then. though it doesn't hurt at all to play there as a hitter w/ his talent.

Wasn't the stadium in PR changed so it is an exact copy of Olympic Stadium? It's not as much of a HR park as it was last year.
Either way, I'm sure none of those HR's would have been long fly balls in Pro Player. He sure is looking good, and I'm mad I didn't pick him in any leagues. He just seemed too unproven and hyped up, but I guess the hype machine has to be right once in a while (ie: Dontrelle Willis).

This is just great, now everyone is going to expect this 20 yr old kid to hit hr's every night. Tomorrow I'll see a post titled "What's wrong with Cabrera no HR tonight"
