By position, list your favorite players. Do one for current and one for all-time. I'll post mine later when I have time. ;-D
Is a Duckworth more than a Schilling?

Favorite All-Time (but not necessarily the greatest players ever)

C-Yogi Berra (underrated)
1B-Willie Stargell ('79 Pirates were my team)
2B-Bill Mazeroski
SS-Honus Wagner
3B-George Brett (I grew up in the 80's)
LF-Ted Williams (too good of a player to overlook)
CF-Willie Mays
RF-Roberto Clemente (great player, great person)
DH-Edgar Martinez

SP-Lefty Grove
SP-Sandy Koufax
SP-Randy Johnson
SP-Bob Gibson

RP-Hoyt Wilhelm (gotta love the knuckleball)
RP-Kent Tekulve/Dan Quisenberry (since they were both submariners, they go together)
RP-Goose Gossage (his presence on the mound was awesome to watch)

C- Todd Hundley
1b- Jeff Bagwell
2b- Craig Biggio
3b- Travis Fryman
ss- Cal Jr.
OF- Kirk Gibson
OF- Lenny Dykstra
OF- Darrin Erstad
OF- Brian Giles
DH- Edgar Martinez

P- Maddux
P- Jimmy Key
P- David Cone
P- Mark Langston
P- Darryl Kile
P- Fernando Valenzuela
Cl- Norm Charlton

I only put players on that I grew up watching. As far as I know, I could always count on these guys to show up every day, play hard, and make the most of what they have (while still having quite a bit) not mail it in because of contract disputes, and overall seem to be respectable, stand up guys off the field. I know there are more talented guys out there, but showing effort and not treating the fans and teammates like dirt has to be worth something.
