Yeah, I'd pick up Payton. Remember, he was considered far and away the best player on that Ga Tech team that featured him, Nomar, and Veratek. Injuries have hurt him, but he's playing in Coors.
Although I would drop Lopez to get him. Including winter ball, he threw 371 innings last year. I can't believe his arm didn't just fall right off.

aaah....yeah...

he was strong the 2nd half last year and if healthy being in colorado is going to boost his numbers up big time playing half his games in that park

yea
I like Payton this year. Now that the rockies have traded cust, he is a lock to get 450 ab's, and should be able to grow off his second half last year. I probably drop Eaton or Lopez to get him. Those kinds of starters litter the waiver wire.
