Baseball is the only field of endeavor where a man can succeed three times out of ten and be considered a good performer.

I have him on my NL-only squad. I don't think he's worth it in mixed leagues.

I have him in my 20 team league, mixed of course. In a traditional 10-12 team league, even 14 teams would be stretching it a bit I would think.

Good to see jumpin Joe get some press time. I coach at the high school at which he played in San Diego. He's a good athlete...played SS as a lefty and hit pretty good. Playing at Coor's hurts his value but they got him because he induces a lot of groundballs with his sinker. Keep an eye on him though, he could become valuable in mixed leagues. He has just been in obscurity the last couple of seasons in Tampa.

He had a 6+ ERA over a full season in Tampa last year. He pitches at Coors this year. You will get burned bad if you pick him up now.
