Yes doctor, I am sick.
Sick of those who are spineless.
Sick of those who feel self-entitled.
Sick of those who are hypocrites.
Yes doctor, an army is forming.
Yes doctor, there will be a war.
Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

Like 'em both. Perez has always been rated as a stud in the making who was simply lacking command. Now he's dominating. But there's not much to dislike on Acevedo, who I believe will emerge as the Cincy #1 SP. Perez would be my choice between the two, but not by a huge margin.

Id go with Perez. Hes looked pretty solid and could K a lot of batters. But either are good choices.

Well, Perez was the better pitcher yesterday. And to sit for that 3 hour rain delay and come out the way he did was impressive. I think the delay was too much for Acevedo to handle though, I do look for him to bounce back next start.

Perez The Pirate

I just picked up Perez and dropped Kris Benson, too many Pirates, I already have Kip Wells, don't you wish the Pirate offense was more supportive? Acevedo was picked up a day before I got Perez, I think I got the better of the 2.

Even though Acevedo gave up 5 earned runs in 6 innings, he only gave up 7 hits and 1 walk. This ain't bad. Not only that, the Reds have a much better offense and will give Acevedo better run support than the Pirates. It's too early to tell which one is better, but I'm sticking with Acevedo... for now.

ditto, the reds offense vs. the pirates offense is the determining factor. both can K', both have low whips and high k/bb, very good signs.

acevedo for now. more W's less K's is the trade off.
Without ME it would just be AWESO.
