Raffy Soriano Update

Postby yellowdog » Mon Apr 26, 2004 8:23 am

He pitched 6 innings last night for San Antonio in the Texas League. He gave up 3 hits, 1 run (earned), struck out 8 and walked 0. Sounds like he's feeling better.

Anyone have ideas on what Soriano's role would be when he does come back up to the bigs? Would he end up being in the bullpen bumping shiggy out of setting up for Guardado? I know I'd like to see him get another shot at starting. Seattle could use a little boost from starters too before the rest of the west runs too far away from them. Lord knows my staff could use his services as a starter as well ;-) .

Thanx for the update, He should be back this week i expect.

I aslo expect him to be a setup man, & Guardado sucks so I expect to see Shiggy & Raffy to be in bigger spots
