How does Teixeira compare to M.Lowell?

Postby Krassotti » Tue Apr 27, 2004 10:48 am

I have both of these on my team and might trade one of them in a month or so.

This is my first baseball season so I really have no clue who would be the better guy to keep.

Thanks.

that was almost helpful, paulie.

i would just say that it's tough to compare an injured tex to lowell. lowell's definitely the man, but tex has yet to show us best. if i had both, i would probably shop lowell who has the proven track record, and keep tex, who will probably match lowell's production and may eclipse it.

Yep, perfect idea. Tex won't get you much in a trade, but he will rebound. Keep Tex, shop Lowell.

I would definitely shop Lowell, ONCE TEX RETURNS. Wait until he gets back so that you don't have a hole. I'm not a big Lowell fan but he puts up good numbers, I think Tex should at least put up the same type of numbers. As for trading, you could probably get a lot more for Lowell than Tex, so I would shop Lowell.
