Anyone heard anything new about Jose Reyes?

From what i was reading it doesnt sound like the Mets are to pleased with how long his rehab taking. Stating that he's taking about 5 wks to recover from something that should take about 2,3 wks. Last report on the 23rd said he's about 70%. Anyone heard any new news? I'm considering picking him up and trading away Renteria for a good OF.

I've stopped looking him up on Rotoworld as its just a daily dose of depression. .....I'd better just delete that bookmark....

The word in NY is that you'd have better luck finding the Lochness Monster than finding out when he'll be back.
I could be wrong in what I'm saying but I'll be dead before I realize it.

Popular sports radio show in NY (Mike and the Maddog) had Wilpon on and I heard he said he was planning on shopping Reyes around for Beltran or Soriano. :-? 8-o

According to the NY papers if the Mets had wanted to shop Reyes, Reyes for Soriano would already be a done deal.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
