Johan's got his groove back:

1 H, 0 BB, 5 K last 2 innings.

Edit to add: This should give me enough false hope to start him for his next shelling.

Looks like Santana may be on the verge of turning it around. Just like Mussina, he has 7 Ks and only one walk today. Hopefully this means that good things are to come for both pitchers.

mussina might not get the loss if the yankees keep gettin lucky with bullsh*t groundballs taht find holes and cheap infield hits.

If these two could come out and pitch well early, they'd be fine. But they keep digging early holes that they can't get out of. Santana 8 Ks to 2 BBs, while Moose had 7 Ks to 1 BB. That's pretty impressive. But they need to do a better job getting loose early on.

His stuff just doesn't look overpowering...seems like he's throwing way too many changeups.

7th round, or 7th overall pick? Overall is pretty high, 7th round is an amazing pick.
Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

why does Mussina get so much credit for being a good pitcher, but he really isn't all that good
