Choi and splitting time

Postby BGbootha » Tue Apr 27, 2004 9:02 pm

This is driving me nuts, the guy has 6 homers and is still only playing part time.

I read that he is not going to start against lefties, but then read latter that he hit .300 against lefties in the minors. What is up with this guy and why isn't he getting the everyday start. Ohh did i mention my roster freezes at 9 am. so i keep starting him on days that i leave spezio on the bench.

I'd vote for checking the lefty matchups religiously. Dusty Baker didn't play him against lefties much either last year.

I had Blalock last year before he was a 'sure thing' and he got benched against lefties too. Just pick up somebody to try and fill in with when Choi's against lefties and you should get some additional productivity out of the position.
