Total cap was $260. I spent $112 on pitching. It was first time auctioning with these guys. They overspent on hitting and underspent on pitching (Brian Lawrence $8).

Wow, I can't believe you got Benitez for only $22. Was everyone else asleep when he was up for bid? I like your pitching except you might need one more mid tier starter - but maybe not if things go your way (especially with Roa). Of course, Myers just had a good outing, finally. I'd like to see you hitting if you have a chance.
Swing hard, just in case you hit the ball.

You're right. I may need another mid-tier starter. In fact, that had been my plan, I wasn't really looking for another big time closer (since I already had Smoltz) but when Benitez was only $22, I couldn't pass him up. it was a similar thing with Ortiz. Besides, I like having guys like Dotel and Remlinger, it helps keep the WHIP and ERA down, and Dotel is a K machine. I'm hoping Silva becomes the closer in waiting.

My hitting: I kept
C Marrero at $6
1b Sexson at $29
3b Lowell at $18
(BTW, I inherited this team)
I bought:
CR Bellhorn $9
2b Durham $25
SS Reyes $4
MI Giles $9
O Cedeno $22 (overpaid)
O Fick $9
O Ledee $3
O Willy Mo Pena $1
O Goodwin $3
U Norton $3
U Fox $5

Bench: Barajas, Richard, Roberto Kelly
Minors: Estrada, Linden, Castillo (Pit), Freeman (Col), Wright (NYM)

I'll need help in the OF at some point but I might be able to trade one of my relievers.
