2B Sleepers? Bargains?

Postby BostonBK7 » Mon May 03, 2004 4:10 pm

I'm looking for a 2B but my league is big and very competative so obviously there aren't many options. Right now I have Polanco but he's done crap for my team. Any ideas?

If you can figure out what's up with your DL (from other thread), then Hairston could be an option.

In a big competitive league Polanco is definitely as good as you will get. He has started off slow but he does play most days for a good hitting team so hang in there with him.

Even a guy like Marlon Anderson probably wouldn't be available and he's not even an everyday starter.

Brian Roberts and Womack could get you some steals. Spivey might still be around and he can drive in some runs.

Indeed, Coke Fiend was a good role for him. Everyone dominated in that movie - Oldman's performance was best.

Another possibility is Juan Uribe for the White Sox, he'll be ss/2B eligible soon.
