I picked him up when Alomar went down and he's been a nice surprise.

He's got 9 SBs so far. Are 35-40 SBs too high an expectation?

I did the same. At this rate I think he can pull it off. He hits the ball too, gotta love him. 2 already tonight!!

They're definitely attainable...

IF

Hairston doesn't steal PT. Stay tuned...because Hairston's getting close to 100%. I still expect one of them, likely Roberts to be dealt.

Yep...this is going to be the problem....when Hairston comes back...he will likely get the majority of the AB's....but I expect one of them to be moved pretty quick.... :-)

why would they arbitrarily replace him with hairston? i think roberts is a better 2b

I have seen them both play many times. They are almost identical, however, Hairston is slightlya better player (a little more speed, a little better fielder, a little better hitter even if the stats don't say so). Even when Hairston comes back expect Roberts to continue to get pt for at least a little while longer until Segui gets healthy again.

depends too on how stupid the O's are. yes Roberts and Hairston are very similiar, but who wouldn't call Hairston injury prone at this stage of his career?
