I am here to confess my sins

In the past couple of months I have made some HORRIBLE trades. Every year I make dumb A$$ trades that take me out of the running and I need your help to prevent these trades in the future. In one league I have made the trade......

I sent away Delgado
4
Herges, and Huff.

Now I was in dire need of closers. And Herges has been playing well right now. My only other closer was Guardado. But Huff has been ridicolous. I was unaware of the fact that he was doing so poorly. I kick myself everyday cause I gave Delgado to the best team in the league. DAMN.

That was one league. The next mixup I made was in a public league.

I sent away Livan Hernendez
4
Authur Rhodes.

In the begining of the year, Rhodes got off to a good start. But again I was unaware of his not so good outings recently. Livan has been the only bright spot on the Expos roster, but I needed a closer. I had Wagner but that was it. I was also dominating in Ks and Wins in that league. Note: Wasnt head to head.

I am sorry for these tragic tradees and I am a disggrace to all fantasy baseball owners.

Yea, the first trade is definitely a killer. Don't blame yourself too much, hopefully huff will step up and start producing some solid numbers and herges will get most saves possible before nen comes back so you don't have to feel too bad. :-)

:-D

SORRY :-/
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million

Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.

i accidentally traded mariano rivera for kevin millwood.

fortunately, the league was cool enough to veto the trade within 12 hours.

drinking and fantasy baseball don't mix.

:-? Hmmm.......In both cases you were trading people away in order to get closers :-? .

I suggest that next year, you make sure to draft a few of them. ;-)

Lol. :-D

I would of done both trades myself as well. Don't feel bad. Huff will turn it around -- his 2003 #'s couldn't of been that big of an abberration.

You just don't hit 47 doubles, K only about once every 7.5 AB's, hit 34 HR's, and hit over .300 and suddenly become a sub-.200 hitter. Too many things support him being a legit All-Star hitter.

I don't own Huff in my league, but I'd still be willing to give top dollar for him.

Alright, my confession is I traded Clemens for Huff. I did it a couple weeks into the season when I found out Huff would get 3B eligibility and I wanted to sell Clemens high, but it was still a pretty bad trade on my part. It hasn't hurt me much so far because I am 5-0 with a 35-19 record, but I am still sick over that trade.
