Like I keep telling myself, he's only had one season under 4.00. If you don't have to give up too much, I'd get him, but I wouldn't overpay for him.

Good Lord, how many teams is that league? I don't really think your team needs another SP, looks pretty solid (maybe not at the moment, but in the future). I would probably try to talk him down a bit. Cintron is a good young hitter and Herges is a closer.

its a 12 team .

i got hudson for kaz and schmoltz in off season. silva and westbrook were pick ups... jenkins is very very injury prone, cintron is a good young hitter but, right now i need solid sp help... cintron i could not get equal value for him right now. plus herges is stinking it up. people are talking about f-rod in the closer role..
plus i trust my ability in that league to pick up next soon to be closer in k.c. , cle, mont. ect... this cafe is a god send for quick heads up closer pick ups....

"Schmoltz". LOL.

Anyway, despite Clement's high ERA last year, he was very good. He has a decent amount of K's, and a good WHIP. Good signs of future success. This isn't a fluke (well, it's not a fluke that he's good - obviously he won't be this good all year) so I think it's a safe bet trading for him, although you'll probably have to give up a lot.
