CLEMENT do you think he'll keep this up all year?

Well, it depends who you have for SB's if you trade Pods.

I'd rather have Clement than Zito. So a Zito for Clement offer might get it done, or a multiplayer deal involving those two. Then again, selling high on Pods could be beneficial. He's off to an awesome start, and you could probably get a lot for him. Just make sure you aren't left with Troy Glaus as your only SB threat.

Here's my Lineup:

C: Wilson
1B: Teixeira
2B: Soriano
3B: Lowell
SS: Cabrera
OF: Wells, Berkman, Podsednik
Util: Lawton
BN: Damon, Casey, Sexson
DL: Mauer

SP: Oswalt, Zito, Webb, K.Wells, Eaton
RP: Borowski, Betancourt, Valverde, Adams

His Lineup:

C: Lopez
1B: Thomas
2B: Boone
3B: Mora
SS: Renteria
OF: Bonds, White, Juan Gon
Bn: Huff, Lofton, Ford

SP: Brown, Penny, Clement, Willis, Livan, Escobar, Benson
RP: Kolb, Otsuka, Shields

I feel like I have enough speed because I'm leading in SBs coming from Pods, Sori, Damon, and Cabrera. Should I try to offer zito and pods for his brown and clement?

Is it a keeper league? Because Brown might not be around for much longer.

However, with those guys, you shoudl stay near the top of the elague in SB's, considering Pods has already got you 18. Pods for Clement would help your team. But he doens't have great SP's, so giving up his 2 best and only getting Zito as a replacement probably isn't something he's looking to do. You can always try it though.

Zito for Clement improves your team. Then, Pods for Brown helps your team. So I'd say it's a good deal for you. You're selling high with Pods, and buying high with Clement. But I think Clement will keep it up while Pods won't, to the same extent. But the trade improves your team, so go ahead and offer. i don't want to get so deep into it where I'm thinking up a bunch of trades. You know your league and whose looking for what, etc.

Clement FA after the year -- no telling where he ends up. IMO It won't be Chicago -- especially if he continues like this (which I don't think he will) cuz he'll be too pricey.

Add to that, our system has quite a few pitching prospects. Either Angel Guzman or a cheap FA will probably be the #5 guy next year.

Another reason of support against the signing of Maddux to essentially a 3-year deal. When the money could of been used on better/younger pitcher in Clement.
