Guillen of Anaheim being carted off field

Postby T-Bone Costanza » Sun May 09, 2004 6:22 pm

The trainers are around him and they are inflating a cast for his leg, which he injured sliding into second.

He's on a stretcher and the bullpen cart is taking him away. The inflatable cast looked like it took up his whole leg. Annoucers speculating, not sure ankle or knee.

Yes, I was, uh... I was thinking about ordering the tape, the videotape... about the college girls and the... the wild... the wildness. They're going wild or something? Somebody told me... about going wild.

If they broke out the air cast it is almost always pretty serious.

I hope he's okay. I don't own him in any leagues, but you don't like to see this stuff happen to any players, or any humans, for that matter.

I think Figgins will get the majority of the playing time once Garrett comes back. For now, we'll probably see DaVanon and Quinlan. Kotch might get some PT if they give Erstad some OF time.

Terrible, terrible news. Very unfortunate, he was really coming around with a great season. I cant afford any more injuries, I have way too many already. I quit!

With all of these injuries, Chone Figgins appears set for PT for a while

Bad for angels fans though...
