lookin to upgrade at 1B, need some help... rate em in order of how they'll do from now on, based on the standard 5 cats-

Ortiz
Sweeney
Green

my personal pick is Sweeney as long he hits between Beltran and Juan Gone.... i think he'll hav the best BA, RBI easily. hes closely followed by Ortiz, and then Green.

anyways give it a try and thanks in advance ;-)

A bunch of ranks might not do you alot of good so I'll elaborate:

1. Sweeney: High average and good RBI totals batting behind Berroa and Beltran and should score some runs in front of Gonzalez and Harvey.

2. Green: Almost put him first. 7 homeruns already so he should be back to mid 30's. Only reason I rank him under Sweeney is because his average will be around a respectable .285 but not near what Sweeney can get and his lineup isn't as good.

3. Ortiz: 30-100 guy. Still a very good option but I just don't see him surpassing the other two.

Sweeney
Green
Ortiz

for all the reasons mentioned by ajgnydc722 except i need to mention Greens double eligibility (OF,1B) makes him a nice player to shuffle in your lineup.

seems like Sweeney is the consensus pick. but i couldnt get the Sweeney and Ortiz owners to bite. heres a trade for Green thats on the table- im leaning towards doing it, just need some resassurance.

Green, Kolb for Freggy Garcia, Konerko.

if i do this Eaton would become my last and 5th SP and Kolb would step in at the 4th closer.

any thoughts???

thanks for the help.

Great trade. I don't like Garcia, and I think the other guy really undervalues Green. Do it for sure...
