This is a crazy statistic.........

Juan Rincon relief pitcher from the Minnesota Twins has won as many games this year with 15 innings pitched as C.C. Sabathia, Roy Oswalt and Freddy Garcia combined.

Would you believe those 3 guys have started 18 games between them, pitched 127 innings with a combined ERA of less than 2.50 and secured just 4 wins :-/

Spare a thought for Horacio Ramirez as well.

He has started 6 games pitched 36 innings with an ERA of 2.75 (15th best in the majors amongst starting pitchers) and has a 0 win 3 loss record 8-o

Interesting stat. ;-D

Quite a few pitchers have been on the wrong end of the run support stick so far this year. :-/

Ha! And Jarrod Washburn is 6-1 with an ERA of over 5.

Some times things can be crazy like that.

Amen. Hopefully the CY Young voters learn this someday too.

I'll also add that Rodrigo Lopez won 2 games for me just LAST WEEK, while Kerry Wood and his 2.5 ERA and 50 K have amassed only 3.
Rest in peace Mitch Hedberg. I name my fantasy team "Buoyancy of Citrus", in your honor.
