Yahoo max. games played question

Postby T-Bone Costanza » Mon May 10, 2004 11:39 am

Does anybody know if the "pace" that Yahoo sets for your maximum games played counts the All-Star Break? For example, I'm +2 ahead of pace for my UTIL spot, but I'm wondering if this will correct itself when all players have 3 days off for the All-Star Break.

I haven't actully done the math but I don't think it works that way. It seems like they take the average games played for the entire league. Just looking at the standings quickly it seems that 31 is the average number of games played and I have 28 days at Catcher so my pace is -3.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

I've never done the math either, but it has seemed over the past few years that that is the case. I always seem to be in the "+" before the break and in the "-" after the break.

Again, I can't say forsure though.
