Thoughts and Projections: Alvarez, Myers and H. Ramirez

Postby DEF » Tue May 25, 2004 3:58 am

Looking to get some thoughts and projections and these three hurlers. Alvarez was lights out late last year and in middle relief this season, but after two great starts he'd struggled his last two times out. Which is the real Alvarez? And which pitcher will we see for the rest of the year? Or will both make appearances?

Myers had a lot of promise coming into the season, but was horrible in April. His last three starts have been very good though. Has he turned the corner and is destined for a solid season, or will he continue to be inconsistent?

Ramirez has been steady all year. Great ERA and WHIP, but not a lot of run support. Wins will be a struggle, but will he keep up his other stats or is he pitching over his head?

Thanks for any thoughts on this trio.

"Yeah, Dave's a killer."

"Dave's a mess."
