Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

I now have a newfound respect and admiration for Jose Lima.

As for Alex Gonzalez, he's hitting like he did early last season, when he was confounding just about everyone with about a .340 avg. Hope it continues for about two more weeks, as I would love to shop him around in the one league where I own him.

i like lima, and his anitcs and well.. his EyE

as for gonzalez, I can see that he is hitting well from the numbers, but is he getting lucky (i.e. seeing eye singles, texas bloopers) or is he getting honest hits?
