He's not the guy but he should be owned already.

Lidge is not going to close. He already had one save anyway. Just one of those things. Dotel has been very solid, too good for the Stro's to boot him from the closer spot.

And perlick29 is correct. He should already be owned. He is owned in all nine of my leagues.

Dotel closed each of the previous two days, so it was just a night off. He is still the Houston closer.

Lidge is probably owned in every league of any substantive depth, as he's very valuable in other categories.

I love it when people in the Cafe cream their pants over people getting saves while the closer rests.

Yep which is why I love this quote from Rotoworld tonight:

Nate Field earned a save tonight by pitching 2 1/3 innings of relief against the Tigers.
Field entered the game in the seventh with the score 3-1 and two runners on base. He shut the Tigers down and the Royals piled on the runs after that. Tonight's outing shouldn't get Field claimed in any leagues, but it will. Jun. 22 - 11:10 pm et

dotel is the closer and will be the rest of the season barring a trade or injury. Its just all the lidge owners hooting and screaming. The only way dotel loses his job is if blows 5 more saves at this point.

i know the run production's prolly gonna be great but anyone know where Beltran's gonna hit and whats Jimmy William's policy on base stealing ? O:-)

2nd would be the best spot for him methinks :-?
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.
