Is Wagner Safe?

Postby Sam Handwich » Mon Jun 28, 2004 2:40 pm

he's been scary lately, any thoughts?
There is no "I" in team but there are two "I"s in statistics - oh, there are also a few "tits" in there also.

You're kidding, right? Wagner has had two bad outings all year, both in non-save situations where he's always basically been awful.

He has been abused worse than an alcoholic's wife since he's come back from the DL. Just look at his stats for June. Though I haven't really heard anything about it, I bet his groin bothers him all season.

I wouldn't trade for him right now.

However, as a Wagner owner and a big fan of the 100MPH fastball, I can't see me trading him either. I'm buckling up my seatbelt and hanging on for the ride.

He's had a couple of rough outings, but should be fine. Do it like Fireball Express: Buckle up and hang on! ;-D
