YES!!!!

And to think yesterday cubsfan said that the cubs laughed at the idea of acquiring him. I am very happy as a Nomar owner.

As a Nomar owner I am not happy about this...numbers will surely go down away from Fenway.

I'm a Nomar owner in a league that counts doubles. Im not pleased. The BoSox are far superior offensively and have that giant wall that gives Nomar severely inflated home splits for doubles and HR's. This is not good.......

ya, as a Nomar owner and Red Sox fan I am not liking this deal at all.

It's a sad day for Red Sox Nation. It's too bad to see a great player such as Nomar to leave like this. We screwed him over big time.

wow. i'm in chicago, and sportstalkradio is blowing up over this.

it's one hell of a move that i didnt think they'd make. clement is a .500 pitcher, and despite an era in the low to mid 3s, he's never been a giant winner, i think 13 is his career high (same for kerry wood, fwiw)

nomar was a special player, i figure now he's at least a very good player. it remains to be seen if that achilles will still bother him, but hey, a guy who COULD hit .350/20/130 at SS?

i hope that the cubs re-sign him and try to be a perennial powerhouse for years to come.

I don't have all the details.

Who did the Cubs give up?

Also I heard it might be a 4 team deal.

Anyone know?
