Loazia's Value

Postby LAxDodgers » Sat Jul 31, 2004 5:28 pm

for those of us already stuck with him, could this trade induce a misconived increase in his value and be a good time to trade him.

Or is there any hope that this trade will bring him back to 2003 proportions?

No way will he reach his 2003 stats, the only thing that will increase is his wins. If someone in your league believes more than that or gets too wrapped up in the notion of run support deal Esteban away.

He's still worthless. Will get a few more wins, but hurts too much in the other catagories to even consider playing him.

This could be a shot in the arm for Loaiza. He leaves a park that was just murder on righthanders. He's also a notable head case (always has been) and he could get his '03 form back if he's excited about his new locale. The flip side is that Loaiza is goofy enough to come completely unhinged if he can't handle the Gothan pressure.

If I owned Loaiza, I'd give him a couple of starts before arriving at a conclusion.
