Things are less-crowded with Mientkiewicz gone but they still seem to have a log-jam in Minnesota.

Before, they were rotating Stewart, Ford, Jones, Mientkiewicz, LeCroy, and Morneau among LF, RF, 1B, and DH, but it seemed like LeCroy wasn't playing as much (he's also been at catcher some).

Now, they can have Ford in LF, Jones in RF, Morneau at 1B, and Stewart at DH, possibly with LeCroy getting time there also.

Stewart will play quite a bit but not every single day. Jacque Jones should NEVER play against lefties (.257/.333/.327) but he's had 113 at-bats against lefties so far this year, so the Twins aren't sitting him as much as they should.

Stewart has played every day for the last week, so that's a good sign.
Roger Angell: I was talking with Bob Gibson and I said: 'Are you always this competitive?' He said: 'Oh, I think so. I got a three-year old daughter, and I've played about 500 games of tic-tac-toe with her and she hasn't beat me yet.'

A healthy Stewart plays virtually everyday.

He'll play at least as much as everyone else in that mob due to the fact he's Minnesota's best option at leadoff.
However, he's iffy for Sunday thanks to getting his elbow dinged.
