H2H league with weekly transactions.

Last week I start Craig Monroe over Sammy Sosa.

Despite being unable (weekly BS!) to sub out my injured Scott Rolen and Jim Thome, it is still a highly competitive contest and the final score is 5-5. I lose the ERA tie break and I'm eliminated from the playoffs.

I lost the HR category 8-9. With Sammy I would have won it 11-9. The final score would have been 6-4, allowing me to move into the championship and one game away from my $300.

It still hasn't sunk in yet... :-P

It would have been worse if Sammy had been having a great season, but I on one of my teams often subbed sammy out (granted I had Steve Finley to replace him)

But that does suck to have come so close and then lost because of a bad mistake
There are 3 ways to do things, the right way, the wrong way, and the Max Power way!

That really sucks. :-t It's not like Sammy's been tearing it up though, just woulda been nicer to have another option I guess. :-D
