schilling: a lock?

will the red sox beat the angels tonight and do you think it will even be close? Seems like the angels are just giving the sox the game by starting washburn vs schilling. Curts been lights out in the post season so it seems like this is a good bet.

Nothing is a lock in the post-season. But you have to like Boston's chances tonight.

I'm going to give this game to the Angels. If Washburn pitches well for 6 innings, the Angels have a wicked bullpen. Heck, Washburn could probably leave in the 5th then Shields, Donnelly, K-Rod, and Percival could finish the game. The Angels have one of the best bullpens in the MLB. If they get the lead early they can hold it.

not giving it to the Angels, but i agree. remembering the 02 playoffs, Mike Soscia can be a sneaky/tactical manager. he tripped up all teams, and the bullpen was a big part of it. so im guessing this could be a similar trick up his sleeve

I expect the Sox to win but it wouldnt suprise me at all if the Angels win the game and the series.

with the angels bullpen, there starters are only needed for about 5 or 6 innings....so i definitely cant say it is a lock, especially with the way the angels have been playing the last 10 days or so.....
plus in the playoffs the hard to believe does happen......
