Is Juan Gonzalez A Good Waiver Pickup

I figured he's just in a little slump, so I picked him up. Am I missing sometimg? I thought he was a huge slugger the last year he was fully healthy. He's in a hitter's park batting behind 2 of the best hitters in the game. Why does he get dumped so quickly?

He's a solid pick-up. I have him on a couple of teams. I wouldn't give up on him at this point. With that line-up and their pitching they are gonna have to score runs.

People bail early on players. Lance Berkman got waived in one league I'm in. Sure, he's had an awful start, but you gotta give a stud like Berkman (or Juan Gone) who play in a slugger's paradise more than a month.

Obviously Juanzo is too good to be on waivers. Grab him.

His only knock is injuries, which have kiled ihm the last couple of years...when healthy, the guy hits for serious power and very good average. If he plays a whole season look for low .300's, 120+ RBI and 30+ HRs......a monster when he gets enough ABs AND when he's in a contract year, which - surprise! - is this year.

I was able to pick him in the 13th round of the draft fr our keeper league. If he stays healthy all season long, he should post very solid numbers... ;-D
