Do you think that Huston Street will help out the A's bullpen or isnt he ready for the major league level yet? If he is ready what will his role on the team be?[/b]

he'll be in the minors this year. I don't think they will bring him up until 2006.

I agree with Trevisc in general, but if the A's are out of contention, which is likely, I could see them moving Dotel at the trade deadline. It seems that if this happens they would want to give him an audition, since he is supposedly fairly major league ready.

Same goes for if Dotel significantly falters or gets hurt.

Id say he starts the year in the pen. He only threw 2 innings in Triple A but destroyed AZ fall league. Keep an eye on him in spring training, but i wouldnt be surprised to see him in the pen str8 away.

I agree with Rynman. If he has a good spring I think he'll be in the pen. He had good numbers in the AFL.
