The Dodgers line-up makes me want to puke.

On the other hand, I am an SC fan so we are both happy this morning!

its looking like Green might NOT waive his no-trade clause. he wants more money on a contract extention. the deadline is today (10 am)

he's such a Moron. Doesn't he see that his numbers would climb in Arizona and thus bring him an opportunity for more cash? I just kicked him off of all my rankings...

haha.. he's a pain in the ass. I dont think he cares about the money as much as he just doesnt want his family to move. yet he still asks for $.. LA obviously doesn't want him there, and yea his numbers would skyrocket in Az.. i hope he realized this and signed the dotted line before its too late :-o

EDIT: this article explains it a little better http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-dod ... &cset=true

it's only a 5.5 hour drive from LA to Phoenix. He could fly home every night if he wanted to.

it's greed.

I can’t knock a person for not wanting to relocate or wanting to be with his family. I’ve known plenty of people that have turned down more money or faster career advancement because they didn’t want to move. After all, why negotiate a no-trade clause unless you plan on invoking it?

I really fault LA. They should get their signals straight with him before they jump into these deals. It’s pretty sleazy to use public pressure and pressure from other teams to manipulate a player into waiving a provision in his contract that they granted him in the first place. It’s only gonna backfire, leaving the front office to feebly scapegoat like they tried to do with Vasquez.
