I suggest taking Burroughs if he is available. He will hit .290-.300 with a possibility of breaking out and hitting higher than .300. He has some experience behind him so he should improve his numbers. His HRs should develop a little bit (the park doesnt help) but if Loretta can hit 15, he should be able to approach that number if he get's his power developed.

He will hit you a lot of doubles and give you a few SBs....I'd take him over any of those guys.

Hasn't this problem come up before?? Someone waited too long to draft a 3B?

Yea, 3B is deep with talent this year, but don't ignore it. If everyone else grabs those guys at 3B and your left with starting Joe Crede, well your digging yourself a hole before the season even starts. How can everyone be gone already anyway?
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike

I'd go with Crede, then Mueller and then Inge.

I picked these three because I think their teams (not because they individually stand out) offer the best support. With both the White & Red Sox, they play in hitters parks and will see better pitches due to a better supporting cast. Although the Tigers aren't the best, they will be better with Magg's (domination is right about the extra elibility at catcher).

Going stictly from your list, Koskie gets my vote. I have a soft spot for Ensberg too. Look at his second half stats from last year...he may be on his way to a .280 20 hr 80rbi season and he runs a little too.
Ginter and Boone were excellent suggestions as well.

I would go with Koskie as well. Crede can't hit his way out of a wet paper bag with holes in it. Hinske has had back to back .244 seasons. Koskie will steal you 10-12 bases . 20-25 homers . 100 rbi and hit .270-.280 He better stay healthy. He just signed a big contract.

I'd roll the dice with Crede. Keep a close eye on free agents in case he craps out.

Ouch. You may laugh but I would take a flyer on Atkins at this point! He could be a huge bargain if he gets lucky. More risk but also more reward if you get lucky. I am sure if he sucks early you can replace him with one of the other 3b on your list that didnt get drafted.
