He only has 1000 career AB's there ... thats not even 20% of his total 5590 ...

as matter of fact. If you remove his career AB's at Arlington, you wanna know what his Carrer BA is ? .... ..

...

...

.299 ;-D

I know, he's had a great career. But over the past 4 years: .282 Road BA. Past 4 years in Yankee Stadium: .274 BA. He's playing half his games on the road, and half his games in Yankee Stadium. So you make whatever calculation you want. If you think .300 is representative of his skill, that's fine. But when you're projecting Sosa's BA do you look at his .277 career BA, or do you look at his recent history? Do you look at Bonds' .300 career BA, or do you look at his recent history?

And what the hell are your projections for A-Rod and Beltran!?!?! Jeez, I've asked like 5 times.

BTW next year Pesos could be worth more than Canadian dollars so I might be gettin a sweet deal :-D

when you have to send that money across the border to me, do you have to pay a 50% tax? :-°

At this point I'm starting to think you didn't make any projections, you just blurted out that you think A-Rod is the #1 fantasy player :-D You can PM them if you want, and I won't reply about them... just curious to see your opinion of him. You must have stretched on them a lot to make the #1 overall pick A-Rod, let alone A-Rod hands down.

You've already said A-Rod is #1 hands down... but you won't say what you think his BA will be? How much more could you give away? No matter what you project him for they all know you over-rate him. Ah well it doesn't matter to me, just found it weird that I asked 5 times and you ignored it every time.

Arod will be much closer to .300 than .280 at the end of 2005 ..

What do you want to bet?
Avatars?

I think he is dropping him .25 points due to the fact that he has a career BA of .333 at Arlington vs. a career BA of .280 at Yankee stadium, as well as the fact that he hasn't batted over .300 on the road over a full season since 2000 when he was playing for the M's
If I recall correctly the Kingdome wasn't a bad place to play either...

Sorry, got a little sidetracked. Where was I? Oh yeah: A-Rod bats .280 this year :-D

And I don't see why you want so badly to count the stats he had playing in Arlington. But whatever. Maybe he'll get traded back there :-D

C'mon now a 53 point swing in BA at home parks ? granted, the sampling size for Yankee stadium is still pretty small, but much like you have to realize a players homeruns will go down if he moves from Coors Field to Safeco the same conclusion can be made about Arod's BA. When he was in Texas his road BA was approx 30 points lower than his home. Even if you leave his Arlington numbers in, he still hasn't batted .300 since 2002 when he batted .300 on the nose.
