Not necessarily. It could work out that I have an extra pick next year if I take RJ and he shows his age this year. In an ideal world, I will get guys like last year when I got M. Cabrera somewhat late and then he produced excellently. :-)

sorry, doing 2 things at once. But Thome could hit 55HR this year with 140RBI, then does that sound like a bad pick??? :-)

Honestly, after all those hitters, I'd go for a pitcher.

I would take RJ even without the added benefit of dropping him in case of injury and getting a top pick next year. The pressure of NY isn't the sort of thing that will bother him just his knee. And it's definitely worth the risk.
