I see Sosa coming very close to 40 homers, and possibly hitting that many. His AVG will be near .250 as a result of the league switch and insane amounts of K's.

I seriously doubt that homer prediction. Wrigley is a better HR park for righthanders than Camden Yards, plus Sosa's rate of decline has been dramatic. I see him close to 30 than 40 this year, with a very real possibility he could drop below that level.

After this upcoming season the Orioels likely will be looking to trade Sosa away to a team that dosen't mind paying his salary. Therefor Sosa will have more motivation than ever to put up good Home Run totals. Think how attractive he'll be come the trading deadline to a team thats close to the playoffs and where a good slugger would put them over the top. As for the D-Rays it's obvious the Lou Pinella is already growing tired of losing. No matter how much promise they may have in the minor leagues they still will not be able to compete in the AL. Before Lou came to Tampa he knew he was in for some rebuilding years but in order to do that his management needs to spend more money. Until the D-Rays open up their wallets and start competing for some of these big name free agents than the Rays will never be truly competitive. I say this though knowing that they do however have some young players that appear to be promising but wake me up when these guys finally live up to their potential and start winning on a regular basis.

Heres a thought, try finishing higher than DEAD LAST in the AL before we start considering Tampa a team that is no longer cellar dwellers.

They aren't in a starting rotation. They'd definately give him a run for his money if they were though :-D

Also it's pretty sad that not only is Cabrera in the rotation, he's not even 5th :-o Chen is much better than him, but still... he should be a middle reliever until he shows he can K more than he walks.

Orioles #4 behind D-Rays.

Sosa should be somewhere between 30 and 35 home runs. (Previous juicer, aging.)
