i dont think so, i had the first pick in three drafts and picked him first overall in all of them, he could go 40-40.

No, probably about the same value since he'll help you win the SB category every week without hurting your average at all unlike most base-stealers. Maybe a bit more valuable because there arent many.

Er... 1st overall is stretching it though. I'd rank him around 10-16th.

Is that right? :-?

And what indication shows you that the 11 HR's last year becomes 40 this year? In the last two seasons combined, he's hit for 16. I don't think he's getting 40 HR's, but he should top 50 steals (again).

And like mentioned above, I don't know about picking his 1st overall (before A-Rod, Vlad, Pujols, Beltran, etc.). I would have waited another round or so - not first overall.

When you're in an OBP league suddenly Crawford doesn't rank so damn high.

If he's really pissed off about it, it's not like I said it to be mean. !+) It's just kinda, the truth right now (at least among the majority of Cafe users) lol. Of course Crawford can surprise everyone and hit 40 HR's, but it's not very likely to happen. I also just feel that Crawford is a 2nd round player, maybe borderline 1st-2nd round in a 5X5 league b/c of steals.
