Welcome to 2010

Post by TheRock »

We're here. I think I've heard from most everyone:

Old_Style - in
emb0lus - in
TheRock - in
cheesebeger - in
RedBullVodka - in
stoggie - in
oscar15 - in
thomasps3 - ??? I see you in Yahoo, just let me know for sure. If you sent me a PM I lost it.
Amazing Oopah - in
seancasey21 - in
Legia - OUT
GIANTbeerdog - in
Third Day = NEW GUY

Anyone want to suggest changes? Auction draft? 6x6? Scoring changes? Roster changes? Max IP? Everyone still good with couchmanagers?

Couchmanagers works for me.
I'd rather not change the settings, mainly because I've already started planning a draft strategy. If you guys want to change it, it'll be fine with me.

It wouldn't hurt my feelings if we kept everything the way it is.

I'm pretty sure thomasps3 is around, maybe just not checking in at the cafe very often. Legia worries me, no posts since last July. I reckon we need to start the search for a replacement.

Yahoo! now offers a Free-agent acquisition budget (FAAB) option. I've always liked the idea, but too big a pain to keep track of manually. Anyone have thoughts?

At the end of each week (I'm guessing it would be a weekly transaction), team's submit players they want, along with dollar values, to acquire via free agency.
Say I want Mike Fontenot. I submit a $2 bid, but Rock submits a $4 bid. Rock wins the Mike Fontenot sweepstakes.

I'm not for this league change by the way, as it would dull down my annual late season spot starting attempts... :-D

Ok, heard back from Legia, he is definitely out. I can find someone via classifieds pretty quickly, do any of you guys have anyone that's been wanting to play?

I like this idea. Ithink it levels the playing field for aquiring free agents.

As for anything else..."if it ain't broke don't fix it".

Hey OldStyle....how about a heads up on a team name! :-)
